Josie Loren holds up a pair of jeans she donated at the DoSomething.org and Aeropostale Teens for Jeans Kick-off Party held at Palihouse on Tuesday night (January 10) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 24-year-old actress tweeted, “@DoSomething event for Teens 4 Jeans! I donated 3 pairs of jeans! Great cause and so simple! U guys can do it too! ”

During the event, celebrities and teen supporters packed up jeans that were donated to a local L.A. area homeless shelter along with letters, photos and videos with words of encouragement.

To kick off this year’s campaign, Aéropostale donated 1,000 brand new pairs of jeans to be packed up during the event in addition to the 10,000 brand new pairs of jeans that they are donating to youth shelters around the U.S.

Josie Loren ruffles it up in a cute LBD as she arrives at CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute held at The Shrine Auditorium on Sunday evening (December 11) in Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old Make It or Break It actress was in a philanthropic mood this weekend.

“I’ll b at the Camp Ronald McDonald holiday event Saturday and then delivering toys to families in need Sunday. I wanna know what U r doing!!” Josie tweeted.

Josie added about the televised tribute, “Hangin with the heroes at the CNN Tribute! Watch the show live in CNN. It will inspire you. Do something! There’s a segment In this show dedicated to young kids who do amazing things for the community! Check it out on CNN.com.”
